Hi. My name is Malinda. I’ve spent my daylight hours over the past 20 years in the fast paced world of agency life. On the front-lines of marketing, mostly the digital side. Having been in the trenches for over 20 years, I can tell you that agency life isn’t easy. It’s exciting, evolving, challenging, fun, fulfilling, frustrating, stressful, and exhausting! I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients in many different industries.
I’ve stepped away from that pace in favor of working one-on-one with a small handful of business executives and entrepreneurs in Greensboro, North Carolina and surrounding areas to facilitate rapid growth of their businesses by effectively integrating marketing and technology.
Marketing and technology are quite different professions. However, these two disciplines converge at the intersection of digital marketing. I’ve been fortunate to sit at this intersection as the internet “grew up” and continue to be very active in the field. Dozens of questions I receive from clients each week, remind me that digital marketing can be confusing from the other side. I enjoy helping companies navigate through, what can often be, a very confusing landscape for the non-practitioner.
In order to be effective online, a business must tap into a wide variety of talents. I’ve had the good fortune to work with many very talented people with different skill sets over my tenure in this industry. I’ve seen what strategies make a positive impact and which ones detract from a successful outcome. I know the types of talent needed, at what phase in an engagement, and for how long.
I sold the digital marketing firm I founded, BEM Interactive, and transitioned the company to the new owners. After a bit of rest, I launched LWC. Lake Wind’s mission is to provide effective website and digital marketing solutions for service-based businesses that have a local or regional client base.
